This will help you avoid using the A/C as often when you get into your car during the day. It will also help you to avoid having your gas evaporate while it sits in the parking lot. Aim for spots that you know will be shaded throughout the day.
4. Use Cruise Control
Using the cruise control while on the highway will allow you to avoid speed changes. Keeping a constant speed will help your car be more fuel efficient. Try to not punch it off the line at each traffic light either. Accelerating rapidly will burn more fuel. If you can, try and reduce your speeds while driving to save a bit more fuel.
