Utah Warriors | Season Review
The Utah Warriors kicked off their inaugural season in March of 2018. A lot of excitement surrounded this team to begin the year. With a world class coach and top talent from around the United States and different areas of the globe, the team was prepped to make some noise in the newly formed Major League Rugby. Here are some of our favorite highlights from this season:
1. Inaugural Match – Utah Warriors v. Glendale Raptors – March 30, 2018– The Warriors dropped their first match, but for the 9,186 in attendance it was the start of an exciting chapter. The excitement and energy showed that Utah was ready for Rugby, and that the Warriors were here to stay.

4. Playoff Push – Utah Warriors v. Houston Sabercats – June 23, 2018– With one game left in the season and a spot in the Major League Rugby Championship Series up for grabs the Warriors laid it all on the line. The Warriors fell behind 17-12 at the half, but roared back to life, and scored a go ahead try to clinch a playoff berth. Over 4,000 fans showed up to watch the Utah Warriors secure their first playoff appearance in team history.
5. MLR Semifinal – Utah Warriors v. Glendale Raptors – June 30, 2018– The Warriors look to pull off the upset as they take on the #1 seed Glendale Raptors in Colorado this weekend. The match will be held at Infinity Park at 7:30 PM. Good Luck!
