AutoSource to AutoSavvy

If you’ve been following our brand, you may have noticed that we changed our name. As of April 5, 2021, we’ve shifted from AutoSource to AutoSavvy. We’ve also changed our logo, which you can see on the new signs we’ve installed at our dealerships across the U.S. It may seem strange for a company to reenvision its brand in the midst of rapid growth, but we wanted to honor our evolution as a company and optimize the effectiveness of our brand identity.

We hired Tungsten, one of the most awarded ad agencies in the world, to conduct extensive research and help us reshape our brand to better build confidence in our truly quality products. After all, the high value of our rebuilt title vehicles deserves truly skilled advertising. The Reasoning Behind Our Name Change

AutoSavvy is a pioneer in the used vehicle market. While we sell salvage title vehicles, our business has the infrastructure to find the most cost-effect salvage title vehicles across the nation and restore them to excellent condition. Since salvage title vehicles lose much of their value when branded with a salvage title, our exquisite restoration projects remain incredibly affordable, even though we’ve given them a more intensive inspection and overhaul than any other used vehicle you’ll find at a conventional dealership. So why did we change our name?

We redesigned our name to celebrate the “savviness” of our customers, who know a good deal when they see one. We also feel that AutoSavvy is quite close to AutoSource, and the look and feel of the name keep us close to where we’ve come from. Other reasons we’ve changed our name include:

• We continued to run into licensing issues as we rapidly expanded into new states. We were unable to license “AutoSource” when we opened locations in Omaha and Bellevue, Nebraska, as well as in Houston and Fort Worth, Texas.
• For quite some time, we operated under multiple names, due to these licensing issues. Some stores went under the moniker, “ASM Cars,” and other stores retained our original name, “AutoSource.”
• The primary reason we rebranded was because of this split in our brand identity, so we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to hire a world-class ad agency like Tungsten to optimize our brand with a refresh based on high-quality research.

One last note, our name has changed, but the song remains the same. Our protocol for restoring the vehicle is the same; our carefully vetted employees are the same; our management is the same. The tenets that we owe our tremendous growth to are a recipe we and our customers continue to trust.
